Daniel Harringer

Daniel’s background is in computer engineering, automation systems, robotics, and software development. Before joining Independo, he worked in research and industry contexts, including building automation at TU Wien and software-related work at Siemens Energy.

At Independo, Daniel focuses on the technical development of the product ecosystem. His work helps turn ideas from co-design, research, and user feedback into software that can be used in real-world settings: by AAC users, families, professionals, and organizations.

He brings a careful engineering perspective to accessibility. For Daniel, good technology is not only about what is possible technically, but about whether a system is understandable, stable, maintainable, and useful for the people who rely on it. This includes building digital products that work across devices, support accessible interaction patterns, and can grow with the needs of users and organizations.

His work is guided by the idea that accessibility needs strong technical foundations. Inclusive products should not only look simple on the surface; they also need thoughtful architecture, reliable systems, and technical decisions that make participation easier in everyday life.
