Technical requirements
Section titled “Technical requirements”For most people, an up-to-date smartphone, tablet or browser is enough. The overview below shows the minimum technical requirements for the Independo Calendar.

Browser recommendation
Section titled “Browser recommendation”For the web version, we recommend a Chromium-based browser such as Chrome or Edge because we test these browsers most intensively.
Safari and Firefox are also supported, provided they are kept up to date regularly. Older browsers can sometimes affect security features, synchronization or individual layouts.
Notes for organizations
Section titled “Notes for organizations”If Independo is used in an organization, we recommend a short check of the available devices, browsers and IT requirements before launch.
This is especially important for:
- managed devices
- older tablets
- smartboards
- restricted browser or network environments
- devices that cannot be updated regularly
Smartboards and large touchscreens
Section titled “Smartboards and large touchscreens”In many cases, the web version can be used on smartboards or large touchscreens if a current browser is available.
Because smartboards vary widely by manufacturer and operating system, we recommend a short technical check. The Independo Calendar web version can be tested directly at calendar.independo.app in the browser.
